San Vicente y las Granadinas
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (also known as Saint Vincent and the Grenadines) is an island nation in the Lesser Antilles Island chain, in the south part of the Windward Islands where the latter meets the ocean. This Caribbean island is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world because of its beautiful and exotic beaches, white sand beaches that seem to extend on forever, and because of the number and variety of beaches that make it up. It is a true paradise, offering everything from crystal clear water to turquoise-blue waters teeming with fish and other sea life. Some of its main resorts are Grand Cayman, Hilton Head, and St. Thomas which offer visitors comfortable accommodation in plush hotels and plenty of activities on the beach.
The Caribbean islands of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines have been selected as World Heritage sites by UNESCO. Because of this, there are several international and national organizations that are working hard to promote tourism in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. These include the government of this Caribbean island, the French company Oceannier, and several other companies as well. There are also several botanical gardens and wildlife sanctuaries on the island, which offer a glimpse into the beautiful flora and fauna of this scenic area.
There are many places to see in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It is important for travelers to keep in mind that there are some things to be avoided at all costs such as diving and snorkeling in the marine life and coral reefs and also the risk of getting sick from the harmful rays of the sun. Another thing to be considered is the choice of clothing and accessories as some people might find it a little off putting or even unfashionable on this warm and tropical island. Therefore it is important that travelers keep in mind these aspects while visiting this Caribbean destination.
